El Filibusterismo (Facsimile)

El Filibusterismo, the sequel to Jose Rizal’s Noli me tangere and his second novel. It was printed in 1891 in Ghent, Belgium. The novel centers on the main character, Crisostomo Ibarra, returning for vengeance as Simoun, a mysterious and wealthy jeweler who influences the Spanish governor-general. Rizal dedicated the novel to the three martyred priests: Fathers Mariano Gomes, José Burgos, and Jacinto Zamora.
